Eric Buckley is the founder of Siam Communications Group and scgdomains.com and possesses over 25 years of experience in the fields of IT and communications. Having lived and/or worked in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines and Thailand, he currently resides in Bangkok, Thailand and has spent the past 15 years in the Asia Pacific region.
Specializing in telecommunications and IT implementations and deployment, SCG has been a key part of some of the biggest deployments in the Asia Pacific region. Their experience focuses in the areas of CRM implementations, web programming (PHP, HTML, Java), web site management, and Project Management.

Eric Buckley’s Bio
When residing in the US, his client base has consisted of AT&T, Daniels & Associates, Continental Cable, Time Warner and United Artists, just to name a few. While much of the service offerings related to the cable industry, he was also heavily involved in consulting projects targeted at technology convergence, which would later lead to large scale broadband network deployments. He used this expertise to assist other Engineering Services firms to start-up operations in the US in order to pursue a more International role.
In 1993 he moved to Hong Kong with United Artists International Holdings (UIH) to oversee the design and engineering of the world’s largest, single cable television system. Here he built a team from scratch that successfully planned and designed a network to service more than 1 million homes, over a period of a year.
Riding on this success, he again started his own Consulting and Engineering services firm in Asia where he played a key role in developing business for AT&T in the region. He also developed an extensive, multi-lingual training program for Mitsui & Co. during the large scale roll out of their communications projects in both Thailand and Japan.
More recently he finished a 3 year role with BT (British Telecom). During that time he was based in Hong Kong where his role was instrumental in supporting BT’s drive for growth in the Asia Pacific region. He moved back to Bangkok to assist a Medical Tourism startup develop their IT infrastructure deployment plan.
